There’s a reason Jesus needed a rock tomb, freshly cut. Do you know what it is? The greek for tomb means memorial, but memorial of what?
This episode defines the word “Mnemati” (μνήματι meaning: ‘tomb’) in Luke 23:53.
“Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen cloth and placed it in a tomb cut in the rock, one in which no one had yet been laid.” (Luke 23:53-NIV)
